HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR APPEARANCES?
Generally, no fixed charge is assessed. Instead, a love offering is taken to help defray costs of music and equipment.

HOW FAR ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL?
We are basically a Salt Lake area ministry. We can't travel very far outside of the Salt Lake valley, since many of us hold full-time jobs in this area.

DOES JOYFUL SOUND CHRISTIAN MUSIC HAVE A CHURCH AFFILIATION?
We are an independent multi-denominational Christian organization sponsored by the Granger Community Christian Church. Our members come from various churches in the Salt Lake Valley.

HOW ARE MEMBERS SELECTED FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION?

IS HANDBELL RINGING DIFFICULT TO LEARN?
Proper bell ringing technique is quite easy to learn. A basic ability to read music is very useful, but with dedication even non-music readers can learn to play.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU REHEARSE? WHERE DO YOU REHEARSE?
The BELLS OF JOYFUL SOUND rehearses at their sponsoring church, the Granger Community Christian Church in West Valley, Utah. It rehearses weekly on Wednesday nights for a two-hour block of time.

HOW DO YOU SELECT YOUR MUSIC?
We review a tremendous amount of music each year. The selection criteria is fairly rigid and is based on the focus of the ministry as defined in our Mission Statement.

YOU BEGAN THE MINISTRY IN 1978. HOW LONG TO YOU PLAN TO CONTINUE?
As long as the Lord leads us to do His bidding and provides us with His talented servants.
